Our Fleet

Smith Transport operates a small, versatile fleet focused on curtainside freight and heavy machinery transport throughout New Zealand.

Our streamlined operation means customers deal directly with experienced people who understand the truck, the load and the requirements of each job. When additional or specialised equipment is needed, we can also coordinate trusted transport operators from our established industry network.

Curtainside Freight

Our curtainside vehicles provide flexible loading and unloading for palletised, commercial and general freight.

We handle regular Auckland metro work, regional deliveries and nationwide linehaul. Our fleet includes truck-and-trailer combinations as well as a smaller four-wheeler suited to lighter deliveries and sites where access is limited.

Heavy Machinery Transport

Our Kenworth transporter is equipped for moving excavators, bulldozers, loaders, vehicles and other heavy or earthmoving equipment.

From local machinery movements to nationwide deliveries, we plan each job around the equipment, access requirements and safest practical transport solution.
